I would say good luck to her, but it seems as though she has plenty of luck already. :)

I have to admit, if I won a million once, it would scare the living daylights out of me. And if I won it twice, who knows what'd happen. There can't be many who haven't had the "when I win the Lottery" conversation with someone or other, but I doubt there are many who actually think about what it's really like to win the Lottery. Because there are some really serious considerations, the big one being whether or not to go public. And as I understand it, some American Lotteries don't even give you the option of remaining anonymous. But I can't understand anyone who does have that option not keeping their anonymity. Of course it's exciting, but the minute you go public is the minute that thousands of people start writing begging letters. Relatives that you haven't seen for years, and with good reason, start emerging from the woodwork with some heart-rending sob story. People that you've passed on the street suddenly seem to feel that they're close friends of yours. I'd want to keep it as quiet as possible. Not because I wouldn't want anyone else to benefit from my good luck but because I refuse to be emotionally blackmailed. It doesn't matter if you've earned the money, inherited it or won it, the money's yours.

I'd want to help others out but it would have to be on my terms.

If you have a small yard, it might not be a big issue, but most people will find that being connected to the wall by an extension cord, limits the freedom and enjoyment of weed wacking your lawn.
